Main purpose and scope of application The
B30C series switching capacitor contactor is a special contactor for making and breaking low-voltage shunt capacitors. It is widely used in reactive power compensation equipment for automatic compensation. It is suitable for AC frequency 50Hz and rated working voltage up to 380V. The on-off capacitor in the power system is up to 50kvar to improve the power factor.
The B30C series contactor is another special contactor for on-off capacitors derived from the B series AC contactor. It is the latest product produced by our factory. Its structure is different from the ordinary switching capacitor contactor. The resistance switching circuit part is on both sides of the main circuit part, and a discharge device is attached. When the capacitor is withdrawn from the power grid, the discharge device is connected to the capacitor, which can make the residual in the capacitor. The voltage drops below 50V within 30s, meeting the requirements of the latest 3C certification standards for low-voltage reactive power compensation devices. Users can save external discharge devices, thereby reducing costs. Its structural design is reasonable and novel, and it is a new type of dedicated switch that is currently vigorously promoted. Working conditions
1. Ambient air temperature: the upper limit is +40℃, the average value within 24h does not exceed +35℃, and the lower limit is -5℃;

working principle

In (Figure 1), above the dashed line is the principle diagram of the on-off capacitor circuit, and below the dashed line is the parallel capacitor bank. The early making contact of the series resistance is the resistance switching circuit. When the electromagnetic coil of the contactor is energized, the resistance is switched on. The circuit is turned on in advance, and the current charges the capacitor through the resistor. The resistor suppresses the inrush current of the capacitor closing, and then the main contact is closed to carry the capacitive current; at the same time, the closing resistor is shorted. When the contactor is released, the main contact opens first The resistance switching circuit is turned off after a delay, which suppresses the overvoltage when the capacitor is turned off.
The two movable (normally closed) contacts and the resistor form a discharge circuit. When the contactor is pulled in, the resistor is disconnected from the capacitor. When released, the resistor and the capacitor are connected in parallel to discharge the capacitor. There are two types of B30C resistance switching circuits (Figure 1), because the capacitors are connected in a triangle shape. When the resistance switching circuits are connected, each phase capacitor circuit has a resistance connection.

Auxiliary contact configuration
only B30C-15 type contactor has a normally open (moving close) auxiliary contact, the contactor can be equipped with auxiliary contacts at the top; B30C-15, 20 The type can be equipped with 4 auxiliary contacts, and the B30C-30, 40, and 50 types can be equipped with 6 auxiliary contacts. There are two types of auxiliary contacts: CA7-10 (normally open) and CA7-01 (normally closed) as required by users, which can be mentioned when ordering.

The shape and installation dimensions of the
contactor are easy to install. Types B30C-15 and 20 can be installed with M4 screws and lock washers, and can also be installed with 35mm standard rails; Types B30C-30, 40, and 50 can be installed with M5 screws and lock washers. Can use 35mm or 75mm standard rails.
